Amitabh is coming as (reel) God along with Salman and Priyanka in God Tussi Great Ho . Salman will be playing a common man cursing God played by Amitabh for everything wrong that happened to him , God listens to him and helps him out by making Salman as God for seven days.
God Tussi Great Ho seems like a fun movie and is slated for August release .

If you are wondering what is all the fuss about Amarnath yatra then read this blog by Ramesh where he has compared Haj yatra vs Amarnath and you will be astonished how “secular” India helps one community over other . There is one community who complains a lot about treatment they receive, about injustice they have received in various cases but gets 300- 400 crore as subsidy so that they can visit there God. I am not sure how many countries in the world gives such subsidy in the name of God even non secular countries don’t give such subsidy .I am not against people visiting God but state sponsor pilgrime is not digestable.
We are a country where million people lives below the poverty line and cant afford food , we are country were we are getting blast every other day helped to a large extent by the community getting all the dollies , we are country were police force is grossly underequipped to fight against terrorism , we are a country were cases are pending in the court due to lack of judges so are such luxuries justified for relegious cause ?
What does tax payers like me should read into this , that we are working hard so that “secular” Government help some people perform there relegious duty , it would be great if goverment gets there priority right , this is shame and it is time that tax payers stand up and ask Goverment to get there priorty right and and not let God come betweel food and security.
Today I got up with news that Ahmedabad is rocked with 17 blast , there might be more as news is still coming in and this has happened just one day after blast in Bangalore. I am gutted and not sure what to write. True to there form our politicians has started blaming each other , center and state has started hurling blame. In my views it is the government who have failed us Shiv Raj Patil and this government should go and hang themselves they have failed to make laws . If this government can bail out farmers with $15 billion package then why cant they modernize laws and police forces , current laws as it stands definitely doesn’t suffice . Here is video report.

Now get ready for some more round of argument and counter argument between center and state government , BJP protest march , congress argument that BJP ruled states are not heeding to the advice . It is pathetic how political class has failed the country on this issue . When we expect them to rise above there ideology and provide safety from terrorism they dont do anything. Every party is equally responsible and it is high time we hit the street asking for laws to prevent such henious act otherwise days are not far when we will be afraid of even going out of our house.

Looks like there are some sci-fi movies coming this year with Abhishek coming in Sic-Fi movie Drona , then Amitabh is coming with it is own Sci-Fi called Talisman .Talisman is from the stable of Vidhu Vinod Chopra and is slated for October release. Talisman seems to be based on novel Chandrakanta and also has Abhishek .

Yesterday I was Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na starring all new star cast . Jaane Tu Ya Jaane is Aamir Khan production and is a fabulous movie (as one would expect from Aamir) . It is love story but with subtle comedy as star cast never tries to make you laugh but the screen play makes you laugh . Whole star cast is excellent and goes nice with the flow of the movie but the one to stole the lime light according to me is Naseeruddin Shah , Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan who are in very different role and is hard to define . Never in any point does one feel stretched out or stressed because of what is happening on screen. Jaane Tu Ya Jaane should go down as top 5 movies of 2008.
So instead of contemplating of whether to watch or not based on different reviews on net I would recommend to go and watch for light romantic comedy and come out happy .
