Network18 group has launched a hindi website josh18. This is great news for Hindi reader as there are very few sites in Hindi .Network18 has got some of the best sites like ibnlive and moneycontrol and hopefully they will maintain the standards to the same level in term of content and presentation. Unlike other sites like TOI and ndtv there sites , barring moneycontrol are more stable , doesn’t have popups for each page and are very elegant . They should move moneycontrol also to ibnlive.com \ buzz18 platform which are more elegant.

I have a few thoughts about this site. Josh18 sounds more a Desi MTV website, but it looks like it caters to a wider audience. The sites done well, in fact I was impressed with the fact that i did not have to install a font in my browser. However, the font itself isn’t really great. Anyways its good to see local content on the rise.
