"I dont like Money"

Published by Veresh under Musing

Lot of time during discussion I have observed people making statement “I don’t like money” or “Money is not important for me” , this makes me wonder either they haven’t bought a house in Bangalore or for that sake in any of Indian metro’s because with the cost rising u need money to buy a decent house OR got there kids admitted in decent schools , as *donation* runs in few lakhs OR got there kids for higher eduction , with admission fees in India itself running in lakhs and if got forbid kid wants to go to US/UK then you got to take loan OR merely got gas filled twice a week as with the cost of rising gas u defiantly need money or they haven’t switched on TV where they constantly show people suffering because of lack of money be it farmers , sport persons et. al.
Why don’t people admit money as gift of God or stroke of luck just like your eyes , ears ,tongues et. al and start appreciating (not boasting) and admit it that they love money .
So next time you come across someone who think “money is not important” OR “he doesn’t like money” give him my number OR ask him to switch on TV OR ask him to call his parents with a question “how you paid for my tuition” OR ask him to get married :-)
Surely money cant but happiness but it can buy most of the things that gives happiness.

Reliance Effect

Published by Veresh under Economy, India Retail

Looks like Reliance has started making first effect on our neighborhood kirana-walla as per ANI
Local vegetable vendors are loosing out to Reliance retail in the fight to sell there vegetables , which was expected as they didn’t had the required economy of scale to bring the prices down neither they had billion dollars behind them to support there cart.
WalMart is severely opposed for same reasons in USA , which is captured in this documentary.

Honest Assessment

Published by Veresh under Economy

This is a very honest assessment by an Indian PM on Indian political and bureaucratic structure , best comment is “LN Mittal became the biggest producer of Steel in world without producing a kilo from India” this reflects a system which shuns Industrialists and entrepreneurship .

Hope Mamta is listening and stop emotionally blackmailing the state by fasting.

Railways & Retail

Published by Veresh under India Retail

Looks like Railways are also foraying into retailing with through public-private equity way by making available access land they have to private parties . This will definitely be a win-win situation for them and retailers.

Lalu is definitely taking railways to places.
